Abstract

This research has determined the peculiarities of blood supply in normal heart valves and morphological changes of blood vessels in the cardiac cusps of heart valves with valvular disease of inflammatory and noninflammatory genesis.. The results of this study suggest that the degree of vascularization of cusps is dependent on the type of acquired valvular disease and characterized by a difference in their histological structure.
