Eficacitatea fizioterapiei în tratamentul și profilaxia progresării miopiei dobândite

Abstract

The study included 80 eyes with mild and moderate myopia, between the ages of 7 and 19 years old. The aim of the study was to assess the efficacy of physiotherapy treatment comparison to single vision correction in progression prevention of acquired myopia. Physiotherapy showed the highest efficiency in patients with mild myopia and 17-19 years of age and lowest in patients 7-16 years of age. The analysis of the spherical equivalent and axial lenght dinamics revealed the myopia stabilization during the study under the influence of physiotherapy. This can be explained by the rapid restoration of the accommodative function due to physiotherapeutical stimulation.

В исследование были включены 80 глаз пациентов со слабой и умеренной близорукостью, в возрасте от 7 до 19 лет. Цель исследования – оценить эффективность физиотерапевтического лечения в сравнении с монофокальной оптической коррекцией зрения при приобретённой близорукости. Анализ сферического эквивалента показал замедление прогрессирования миопии под влиянием физиотерапевтической стимуляции.
