Abstract: Autorii prezintă un caz clinic rarisim de hernie Morgagni asociat cu sindromul Down, rezolvat chirurgical cu succes. Raritatea maladiei, evoluţia asimptomatică de rând cu lipsa unei simptomatologii specifice, crează anumite probleme de diagnostic precoce şi diagnostic diferenţial. Tratamentul chirurgical se va efectua odată cu stabilirea diagnosticului, chiar şi în formele necomplicate. În articol sunt redate aspectele contemporane de diagnostic, diagnostic diferenţial şi tratament.
The authors presents a rare case of Morgagni hernia associated with Down syndrome that has been surgical resolved with success. The rarity of the disease, the evolution without symptoms creates certain problems of precocious diagnostic and differential diagnostic. The surgical treatment will be performed when the diagnostic will be established even in not complicated forms. In the article are given the contemporary diagnostic aspects, differential diagnostic and treatment.
