The aim of the study was to establish the correlation between immunologic parameters, intoxication syndrome (SI) from postoperative peritonitis (PP), and evolution variants of PP. The study comprises a number of 192 cases of PP after programmed (45.8%) or urgent (35.4%) surgeries, abdominal trauma (10.9%) and gynecological surgeries (7.8%). Based on the analysis of 21 clinico-paraclinic parameters we described a patient classification depending on the stage of SI, and another classification depending on the evolution variant of PP. The differentiated study of immunologic parameters in that group of patients, allow us to describe the immunological changes that occur in patients with PP.
