Tuberculosis mortality is one of the main epidemiological indicators that reflect the burden of tuberculosis. The retrospective study was conducted over 3 periods of time and included deceased patients from TB and associated diseases: period I (2001-2003) –157 cases; period II (2007-2009) – 110 cases; period III (2013-2015) – 112 cases. In all studied periods, men and people aged 35-65 years predominated. The majority of TB patients died from associated diseases were diagnosed by the symptom exam at the family doctor and other specialists. Associated diseases that have more frequently contributed to the death of the tuberculosis patient are: oncological pathology, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, community-acquired pneumonia, сoinfection TB/HIV, alcoholism and other causes. The fatal outcome in TB patients caused by the associated diseases occurred more frequently at home in all periods.
