dc.description.abstractIntroduction Hypertrophy of adenoid vegetations is one of the most common nosological entities globally. Incidence - 42% to 70%, affecting the children aged 0-6 years. Purpose Study the methods of diagnostic and surgical treatment used in the hypertrophy of adenoid vegetations. Material and methods 1. Retrospective study - 30 patients selected within the IMSP Clinic "Emilian Coțaga": April 2019-April 2020. 2. Diagnostic methods: conventional radiography, acoustic rhinometry, rhinomanometry, optical endoscopy, fibrorinoscopy. 3. Surgical treatment: classical adenotomy, ablation by laser and microdebrider, under endoscopic control. Results 1. Conventional radiography - 30 patients (100%) before hospitalization. 2. In the hospital, rhinofibroscopy - 20 p. (66.66%), rhinomanometry - 20 p. (66.66%), acoustic rhinometry - 15 p. (50.00%). 3. Better results - the laser - 15 p. (50%) and the microdebrider - 10 p. (33.33%) , compared to the classical adenotomy - 5 p. (16.66%). Conclusions In the practice of the pediatric otorhinolaryngology clinic "Emilian Coțaga", efficient methods of diagnostic and treatment are useden_US
