Based on statistical data of the National Center for Health Management, it was studied incidence the of congenital malformations in the population of the Republic of Moldova during 2003-2014. It was found that the overall rate by congenital malformations exhibits an oscillating downward trend. At the level of municipalities the indicator is higher compared to the national average, while at the district level-lower. Analysis of available data shows that the national average incidence by congenital malformations exhibits oscillatory curve with small deviations between 32.6 (2008) and 47.3 (2012) to 10 thousand children. If the congenital malformations prevalence, values in the first period under study have shown a decrease, then in the second period indicator values show a gradual increase.en_US
