Abstract: Plants represent inexhaustible sources of valuable chemical natural substances. During the last years, frequiently the medicinal plants have been utilizated to produce different chemical compounds with important therapeutical effects by cellular and tissual cultures in vitro. A system of criteria was worked aut, such as: the systematic appurtenance of donor-plants; the donor-organ used as a source of explant; the nature of histogen; the chemical nature of the prodused substances; the therapeutical effects, the culture type of cultivation in vitro etc. to elaborate a screening about vegetal chemical substances produced by culture in vitro, which can express the present situation.
