| dc.description.abstract | Summary. The management of labor in women with prenatal rupture of amniotic membranes at term has become less a clinical dilemma compared to past decades. All these were possible due to the wider understanding of the mechanisms of production of this phenomenon, the mechanism of complications development as well as the broad possibilities of intrapartum actions. However, prenatal rupture of amniotic membranes at term presents a risk of vital complications for the mother and for the newborn. | en_US |
