Улучшение результатов оперативного лечения больных доброкачественной гиперплазией предстательной железы посредством применения α1-адреноблокаторов в послеоперационном периоде

Abstract

Summary The aim of this study was to investigate the value of alpha-blockers administration in postoperative period after TURP. 52 patients received terasosin, 49 - tamsulosin and 96 patients served as a control group. On control evaluation 6 months after TURP all groups had equal values of Qmax and QoL index. However, the average l-PSS score in alpha-blockers groups was statistically (p < 0.05) significantly lower the value in the control group. Alpha-blockers administration results in a better symptomatic outcome in post-TURP patients.
