dc.description.abstractRezumat. Scopul studiului a fost de a efectua o analiză retrospectivă a morbidităţii pacienţilor cu procese inflamatorii în teritoriul oro-maxilo-facial internaţi în secţia de chirurgie oro-maxilo-facială în perioada anilor 2010-2014. În acest scop au fost studiate fişele medicale a 5075 de pacienţi spitalizaţi pe parcursul anilor 2010-2014 cu diverse procese inflamatorii. S-a constatat că frecvenţa pacienţilor cu procese inflamatorii a constituit 68%, majoritatea fiind de origine odontogenă (69%). Abcesele au fost apreciate în 45% cazuri. Analiza metodelor de tratament aplicate pacienţilor cu procese inflamatorii a demonstrat o rată sporită de utilizare a intervenţiilor chirurgicale (85%) versus celor conservative (15%) cu o uşoară predominare a accesului endobucal (54%). Analiza statistică a metodelor de anestezie utilizate a demonstrat o predominare semnificativă a anesteziei loco-regionale cu potenţiere (96%).en_US
dc.description.abstractSummary. The purpose of the study was to perform a retrospective study of the incidence of the inflammatory processes in oro-maxillo-facial (OMF) region in the OMF surgery department from 2010 till 2014. 5075 patients histories were studies. It was determined that incidence of inflammatory processes in OMF region was 68% from all the patients treated in OMF surgery department between 2010 and 2014. The majority (69%) of them had odontogenic etiology. Abscesses were observed in 45% of cases. The analysis of the treatment methods showed that surgical treatment was performed in 85% of cases compared to 15% of non-surgical treatment. Intraoral approach was used in 54% of cases. The analysis of anesthesia methods showed that in 96% of cases loco-regional anesthesia was used.en_US
