Background: To evaluate the refractive and visual outcomes of single-step transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy (transPRK) in the treatment of low to hight myopia and low hypermetropia. Methods: This study consecutively recruited patients with different degree of myopia and low degree of hipermetropia that had undergone TransPRK treatment. Pre- and post-operative visual and refractive data, as well as safety and efficacy indices were analyzed at 6 months postoperatively. Conclusions: TransPRK showed safe, effective and predictable results in the correction of low to hight astigmatism and myopia and low hypermetropia.en_US
