dc.description.abstractDrug preparation "Doresan" is a mixture of grape seed oil and pumpkin seed oil in a ratio of 1:1. The combination of the oils allowed to obtain a composition with a high content of indispensable polyunsaturated fatty acids and tocopherol. Lipid-lowering action of this composition is based on the content of tocopherol, which is an antioxidant that inhibits lipid peroxidation by molecular oxygen and the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (oleinic linoleic - omega 6 linolenic - omega 3). The main mechanisms are incriminated is inhibition of lipogenesis, stimulation of diacylglycerol acyltransferase and beta-oxidation and degradation of apolipoprotein B, resulting in a reduction in the secretion of triglycerides and low density lipoprotein. As a result it lowers the plasma cholesterol, increases its content in the bile and intestinal contents and increases its catabolism in the liver. Preparatul „Doresan” este un amestec a uleiului din seminţe de struguri cu ulei din seminţe de dovleac în proporţie de 1:1. Asocierea acestor uleiuri a permis obţinerea unei compoziţii cu un conţinut înalt de tocoferol şi acizi graşi polinesaturaţi indispensabili. Acţiunea hipolipemiantă a acestei compoziţii este bazată pe conţinutul de tocoferol, care este un antioxidant ce inhibă peroxidarea lipidică de către oxigenul molecular şi pe conţinutul de acizii graşi polinesaturaţi (oleinic, linoleic – omega 6, linolenic - omega 3). Principalele mecanisme incriminate sunt inhibarea lipogenezei, diacilglicerol-aciltransferazei şi stimularea beta-oxidării şi degradării apolipoproteinei B, cu reducerea ratei de secreţie a trigliceridelor şi lipoproteinelor cu densitate joasă. Ca rezultat scade nivelul plasmatic al colesterolului, creşte conţinutul lui în bilă şi conţinutul intestinal, se intensifică catabolismul lui la nivel hepatic.en_US
