dc.description.abstractCarbon tetrachloride (CCl4) is a toxic compound widely distributed in the environment. The aim of the study was to investigate CCl4 influence on mineral composition of the bone in adult rats. Long term CCl4 administration (8 weeks) statistically significantly decreased magnesium (21%, p < 0,01) and potassium (23%, p < 0,001) and increased sodium (62%, p < 0,05) contents in the bone of female rats. Only phosphates were statistically significantly changed (increased by 11%, p < 0,05) in male rats after prolonged CCl4 administration. Tetraclorura de carbon (CCl4) este o noxă larg răspândită în mediul ambiant, care afectează grav diverse organe şi ţesuturi. Scopul studiului a fost de a cerceta influenţa CCl4 asupra compoziţei minerale a ţesutului osos la şobolanii adulţi. S-a stabilit că la administrarea de durată a CCl4 (8 săptămâni) scade semnificativ cantitatea magneziului (cu 21%, p < 0,01) şi potasiului (cu 23%, p < 0,001) şi creşte cantitatea sodilui (cu 62%, p < 0,05) în ţesutul osos la femele. La masculi administrarea CCl4 induce doar creşterea semnificativă a cantităţii fosfaţilor (cu 11%, p < 0,05) în ţesutul osos.en_US
