Abstract: Lyell syndrome (acute toxic epidermal necrose) is an acute, vital dangerous disturbance, which is characterized by diffuse adulteration of the teguments and mucosa with bull formation, epidermal necrolisis, skin exfoliation associated with severe intoxication and function lesion of all organs and systems. This syndrome is included in the rare and little – known disease group. Sindromul Lyell (necroza epidermală toxică acută, necroepidermoliza buloasă, toxidermia buloasă, sindromul cutanatului “ars”) este o maladie acută, vital periculoasă, ce se caracterizează prin alterarea difuză a tegumentelor şi mucoaselor cu formarea bulelor, necroliza epidermală, exfolierea pielii, asociată cu intoxicaţie gravă şi alterarea funcţiilor tuturor organelor şi sistemelor. Acest sindrom este inclus în grupul maladiilor rare şi puţin cunoscute.
