Pharynx pathology and especially chronic tonsilitis presents a current problem, which is explained by the increasing number of patients with pathology. Prin tractul digestiv şi respirator, în organismul uman, pătrund majoritatea absolute a agenţilor patogeni. Rezistenţa catre infecţie este asigurată de producerea imunoglobulinei A. Patologia faringeană şi în deosebi tonsilita cronică prezinta o problemă foarte actuală, fapt ce se explică prin creşterea numărului de bolnavi cu patologia în cauză.en_US
