Abstract: The study comprised 75 patients with systemic scleroderma and aimed at assessing the frequency of some co-morbidities and their correlation with the patients’ age and disease duration. The obtained results showed an increased occurrence of renal disease and disorders of glucid metabolism in patients with the disease onset before 30 years old, while in those with the disease starting after 30 years, the degenerative disorders of the musculoskeletal system and atherosclerotic vasculopathies prevailed.
