This study provided clinical-pathological evaluation of the progressive muscular dystrophy for children. In the study were involved 21 children (16 or 76.16% boys and 5 or 23.80% girls) with progressive muscular dystrophy. Muscular dystrophy (MD) is a group of rare inherited disorders characterized by progressive deterioration of body muscle, involving muscle weakness and disability. In the group of patients studied, the most common clinical form: 11 cases or 52.38%, was the Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
