The purpose of this study was a comparative investigation of the activity of antioxidative enzymes glutathione reductase and glucose-6- phosphate dehydrogenase in the blood plasma and erythrocytes in the patients with dyshormonal hyperplasiae and mammary cancer. Thirty-six patients aged 32-65 years (mean age 48.5±16.5 years) were studied before treatment and 20 healthy individuals (a control group). The results reflect the activity of a pathological process and the imbalance of the antioxidative defense in the patients with mammary tumors, and may be used for differential diagnostics as an additional biochemical test.en_US
