Title: Experienţa noastră în tratamentul chirurgical al stricturilor de uretră Authors: Lupaşco, C.; Dumbrăveanu, I.; Ghicavâi, V.; Scutelnic, Gh.; Bianov, Z. Abstract: Summary. During last ten years the incidence of urethral strictures in urology departments from Moldova is 1- 2% of patients. In this time the surgical treatment remains one of controversial problems in treatment of urethral strictures. In this research were investigated 332 (1,8%) patients in department of urology from Republican Hospital during 7 years (1995-2001). The results show that optic uretrotomy is a choice method in treatment of all urethral strictures but open surgery is preferable in treatment of obliteral posttraumatic strictures.

During last years urology demonstrates considerable successes, the endovascular surgery is the most outstanding example in this sense. Owing this method many classic operations were replaced by less invasive once. The principle of the method is in dilatation of the stenosed zone of the artery, the approach to this artery is realized by the percutaneus punction of a single peripheral artery. We have applied the endovascular endoplasty in three cases.

Title: Managementul în chistul renal simptomatic Authors: Punga, V.; Martov, A.; Ghereg, A.; Tănase, A.; Dumbrăveanu, I. Abstract: Summary. Our research of the last 10 years is based on the analysis of 152 cases of renal cysts. The paper aims to present the authors experience gained from the treatment of renal cysts with traditional and up-to-date methods. Authors propose a new algorithm for the treatment of renal cyst. The analyzing criterions of results were the following: rate of success, number of failures, complications and there solving way. Rate of success was 92%. Complications were noted in 7% of the cases. Algorithm proved to be useful in everyday clinical practice.
