Treatment results were analyzed in a group of 132 patients with acute destructive pancreatitis in which, in the first stage of the disease, miniinvasive laparoscopic procedures were applied parallel to intensive care: canulation of the round ligament of liver for continuous blockade, laparoscopic direct cholecystostomy with or without lithextraction, laparoscopic transhepatic cholecystostomy, laparoscopic lavage and drainage of abdominal cavity and lesser sac with installation of fractional lavage. These methods proved a high curative efficacy and seem to have an important role in prevention of late purulent necrotic complications, leading to reduction of mortality rate in this group of patients to 9% – up to 3.5 times lower than the control group.
