dc.description.abstract | Introduction. Diuretics are widely used in the treatment of diseases
accompanied, nephroticly liquid retention in the body,
especially in circulatory insufficiency syndrome,
hypertension and glaucoma. Purpose. Research of vegetal products containing flavonoids
and saponosides and their subsequent application in
the treatment of various diseases.
Material and methods. Study and synthesis of scientific articles, on the use of
vegetal diuretics and evaluation of the State
Nomenclature of Medicines (SNM) from Republic of
Moldova. Results. We mention two large groups of active
principles responsible for the diuretic
action: flavonoids and saponosides. Vegetal products containing flavonoids:
Uvae-Ursi folia, Polygoni avicularis herba,
Betulae gemmae are indicated in edema, hydro-electrolytic balance disorders; while products
rise in saponosides: Equiseti arvensis herba,
Orthosiphonis folia are recommended in
hypertension and circulatory insufficiency. Conclusions. Vegetal diuretics with a 1.04% share after SNM RM,
unlike synthetic ones, reduce the risk of dependence
and adverse reactions. | en_US |
