Abstract

The modern approach for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis is an early and aggressive intervention with traditional and biologic DMARDs, to achieve remission or low disease activity. Radiographic erosion score predict future functional decline, and in our study we demonstrate that treatment with biologic agent Tocilizumab – can have a better preventive potency than standard treatment with Methotrexate and combination treatment Methotrexate and Sulphasalazine.
