Background. Nutrition is an integral part of pediatric gastroenterology, being vital in the growth and development of the child. Nutritional needs and digestion possibilities depend on weight and age. Food deficiencies lead to decreased resistance to infections, edema, toxic phenomena, metabolic disorders. Objective of the study. Highlighting the role of pediatric nutrition by analyzing the nutritional ration and nomograms, in patients with pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract of SCMC "Valentin Ignatenco". Material and Method. A descriptive study was performed, with statistical collection from spreadsheets for a nutritional ratio and name, by age and sex. For research, 20 children with digestive corneal diseases were examined: gastroduodenitis - 12; colitis- 3; 5. pancreatitis- 5. A calculation calculates body mass index, weight index and deficit, protein: lipid: carbohydrate ratio. Results. Following the study, children were found with: weight according to age and height - 30%, (IP) ˃ 0.86; malnourished grade I- 35%, IP = 0.86-0.76; malnourished grade II- 30%, IP = 0.75-0.61; malnourished grade III- 5%, IP˂0.6. Unbalanced nutritional intake through: overload at breakfast - 50%; lack of snacks - 40%; insufficiency at lunch- 60%; presence of snack II- 50%; absence of cine- 35%. Conclusion. 95% of the studied cases are malnourished, which denotes an unbalanced diet and an insufficient coverage of the food ration. Introducere.
