Romanian medical language - between meaning and value

Abstract

Background. The accelerated modernization of society has generated essential transformations in the language field – selecting the most suitable terms for the given communicative situation, creating new new terms or using existing terms from other languages or other specialized fields. Objective of the study. The purpose of our investigation was to study the scientific works in the linguistic field, analyzing the exponential terms and the most commonly used in medical speech from the paradigmatic, syntagmatic, synchronous and diachronic point of view. Material and Methods. At the base of the empirical investigation we used the methods of observation – the study of works in the field of language and observation Results. As a result of our scientific approach we selected and analyzed some reference works in the linguistic field, we developed a table with the medical terms that are more frequently used and we analyzed them from a synchronic, diachronic, syntagmatic, paradigmatic point of view. Conclusion. Our research presents a reflection of interference, an interdisciplinary approach to the medical and linguistic fields. The Romanian medical language fully justifies its use of a precise and standardized vocabulary, which requires compliance with the laws of the common, literary language, being, at the same time, in unison with the usual one, understood by the vast majority of users of the Romanian language.

Introducere. Modernizarea accelerată a societății a generat transformări esențiale în domeniul lingvistic – selectarea celor mai potriviți termeni situației comunicative date, crearea unor noi termeni noi sau utilizarea termenilor existenți din alte limbi sau din alte domenii specializate. Scopul lucrării. Scopul investigației noastre a presupus studierea lucrărilor științifice din domeniul lingvistic, analizând termenii exponențiali și cei mai frecvent utilizați în discursul medical din punct de vedere paradigmatic, sintagmatic, sincronic și diacronic. Material și Metode. La baza investigației empirice am utilizat metodele de observație – studiul lucrărilor în domeniul lingvistic și observația. Rezultate. În rezultatul demersului nostru științific am selectat și am analizat unele lucrări de referință din domeniul lingvistic, am elaborat un tabel cu termenii medicali care sunt mai frecvent utilizați și i-am analizat din punct de vedere sincronic, diacronic, sintagmatic, paradigmatic. Concluzii. Cercetarea noastră prezintă o reflecție de interferență, o abordare interdisciplinară a domeniului medical și cel lingvistic. Limbajul medical românesc își justifică pe deplin utilizarea unui vocabular precis și standardizat, care impune respectarea legilor limbajului comun, literar, fiind, totodată, în unison cu cel uzual, înțeles de marea majoritate a utilizatorilor limbajului românesc.
