| Abstract: | Summary:
Gamma-glutamyltransferase is an established liver function
test and a sensitive marker of hepatic inflammation. Recent
studies have focused increasing attention on the usefulness
of GGT as a predictor of cardiovascular disease. As a result,
identifying higher than expected GGT levels should alert the
the physician to study patients in more detail, with the hopeful outcome of preventing unnecessary cardiac-related events
and deaths in future years.
Резюме:
Гамма-глутамилтрансфераза (ГГТ) является признанным печёночным тестом и чувствительным маркером
печеночного воспаления. В последних исследованиях
все большее внимание было сосредоточено на использовании ГГТ как предиктора сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний. Таким образом, определение повышенного
уровня ГГТ должно побудить врача к детальному
исследованию пациента с целью предотвращения развития сердечно-сосудистых осложнений и смерти в
последующие годы. |
