Hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS) is one of the most common etiologies for acute kidney injury (AKI) and an important cause of acquired chronic kidney disease (CKD) in children. It mainly affects infants and small children, though older children and adults may also suffer. A retrospective study was conducted between 2008-2019 in Mother and Child Institute in Chisinau. The aim of this study was to determine the demographic and clinical characteristics of HUS in children.en_US
