| dc.description.abstract | Mature cystic teratomas are the most common benign germ cell tumors of the ovary in children and adolescents,
being known as dermoid cysts because of the overall predominance of skin elements. There are often detected occasionally on exams or imaging. The author describes a review of the literature that contains complications and peculiarities of
