Algoritm de diagnostic şi tratament a osteomielitei hematogene acute la copil

Abstract

A retrospective study of 120 patients aged from 3 to 16 years with Acute Hematogenous Osteomyelitis (AHO) of the femur, hospitalized and treated in the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the National Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Surgery “Natalia Gheorghiu” in the period 2003-2007 are included in this work. The patients group contains 74 (61,6%) proximal segment and 46 (38,4%) distal segment localization. This study is a background for elaboration of diagnostic and treatment algorithm in the Acute Hematogenous Osteomyelitis in children leading to evolution amelioration, complications reducing and improving the results of the disease.

Lucrarea prezintă un studiu retrospectiv asupra unui lot de 120 bolnavi în vârsta de la 3 până la 16 ani cu osteomielită hematogenă acută (OHA) a femurului internaţi şi trataţi în Clinica de Chirurgie Pediatrică a CNPŞ “Natalia Gheorghiu” în perioada 2004 – 2007. Lotul cuprinde 74 (61,6%) localizări la segmentul proximal şi 46 (38,4%) la segmentul distal al femurului În baza studiului efectuat a fost elaborat un algoritm de diagnostic şi tratament a OHA la copil cu ameliorarea evoluţiei, reducerea complicaţiilor şi îmbunătăţirea exodului afecţiunii.
