Particularităţile unor profiluri metilice ale promotorului genei p15 la pacienţii cu cancer tiroidian

Abstract

In this study we have obtained some methylic profiles in DNA extracted from normal tissue and thyroid malignant tumors (various morphologic subtypes). We have identified differences in the methylic profile of p15 gene promoter of the thyroid tumors compared with the profile of normal thyroid cells (peritumoral tissue). In conclusion we sustain that MM methylic profile of p15 gene promoter can be used as a high-risk molecular marker for the examined person who can be affected with thyroid cancer refering the day of sample collection.

În cadrul studiului au fost obţinute unele profiluri metilice atât la nivelul ADN-ului extras din ţesutul normal al glandei tiroide cât şi din tumori maligne ale glandei tiroide (diverse subtipuri morfologice). Au fost identificate diferenţe ale profilului metilic la nivelul promotorului genei p15 al celulelor din tumori în comparaţie cu profilul celulelor normale (ţesutul peritumoral). S-a conchis că profilul metilic MM la nivelul promotorului genei p15 poate servi ca marker molecular al riscului sporit către cancer tiroidian, raportat la ziua prelevării probei biologice.
