| dc.description.abstract | Summary.
The frequency of dento-parodontal trauma lately is becoming a growing
social problem. Traumatic dento-parodontal lesions represents about 3,34%
from total traumatic injuries of the face region. Dento-parodontal lesions
are often associated with soft tissue damage and alveolar apophyses. Full
and prompt medical care for traumatic lesions of the maxillofacial region
minimize the immediate and delayed complications and preventive measures greatly reduces the frequency of these injuries. | en_US |

Frecvenţa traumatismelor dento-parodontale în ultimul timp este în
continuă creştere devenind o problemă socială. Leziunile traumatice dento-parodontale reprezintă circa 3,34% din totalul leziunilor traumatice a
regiunii OMF. Deseori leziunile dento-parodontale sunt asociate cu leziuni ale ţesuturilor moi şi apofizei alveolare. Asistenţa medicală completă şi
promptă a leziunilor traumatice din regiunea maxilofacială reduce la minim complicaţiile imediate şi tardive, iar aplicarea măsurilor de profilaxie
reduce considerabil frecvenţa acestor consecinţe. | en_US |
