It was established that in experimental toxic hepatopathy (HP) induced by long term administration of CCl4, the activity of the adenylate cycle enzymes: adenylate deaminase (AMPase), adenosine deaminase (ADA-ase) and 5-nucleotidase in the liver and spleen were significantly increased. Administration of local biologically active compounds  CMD-8, CMJ- 23, sulphated polysaccharides from Spirulina platensis (SPS) and BioR Fe-Se, maintained the adenylate cycle enzymes activity in the liver tissue of intoxicated animals at high values similar to those recorded in animals with HP. Bior Fe-Se, CMD-8 and CMJ-23 reduced the former increased activity of AMP-ase, ADA-ase and normalized the activity of 5-nucleotidase in the spleen tissue of rats with experiential HP.
