Reabilitarea pacienţilor cu atrofie severă a maxilarului superior prin metoda „Quad Zygoma“. Caz clinic

Abstract

Rezumat. Reabilitarea implanto-protetică a pacienţilor cu atrofie severă a maxilarului superior poate fi realizată amînat, numai după crearea ofertei osoase necesare, sau prin metode alternative de implantare în zone anatomice învecinate cu os disponibil, cum este osul zigomatic. Scop: Prezentarea metodei de inserare a implantelor zigomatice cu analiza eficacităţii metodei. Prin prisma unui caz clinic de reabilitare implanto-protetică după protocolul „Quad Zygoma“, pacienta A.M., cu vîrsta 58 ani, la care s-a stabilit diagnosticul „Edentaţie parţială subtotală cl. I Kennedy. Atrofie osoasă clasa D Misch în regiunea anterioară şi SA-4 Misch în sectoarele posterioare ale maxilei. Parodontită cronică generalizată forma medie-avansată“, a fost demonstrată eficienţa metodei aplicate.

Summary. The implant-prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with severe atrophy of the upper jaw can be postponed only after the necessary bone supply has been created or through alternative implantation methods in anatomical areas adjacent to available bone, such as the zygomatic bone. Objective: To present the method of inserting zygomatic implants and analyzing the efficacy of the method. Based on a clinical case of implant-prosthetic rehabilitation using the “Quad Zygoma” protocol, patient A.M., aged 58, was diagnosed with “Kennedy Class I Partial Subtotal Edentulism. Misch Class D bone atrophy in the anterior region and Misch SA-4 in the posterior sectors of the maxilla. Generalized chronic periodontitis of moderate-advanced form.” The effectiveness of the applied method was demonstrated.
