Objectives. The evaluation of current current regulations by analyzing the existing legislative frameworks at the European Union level regarding endocrine disruptors, including regulations on chemicals, pesticides, plasticizers, and other potentially hazardous chemical products. Methods. The study chronologically investigated the strategies adopted for regulating endocrine disruptors, the scientific approaches applied in this field, and perspectives for future actions.Results. At the European Union level, the management of these substances has evolved significantly over the past few decades, from the recognition of their risks to the development of complex regulatory policies. Conclusions. The European Union has succeeded in creating a legislative framework that gradually addresses the risks posed by these substances; however, the effective implementation of this framework requires continuous efforts to harmonize regulatory framework and support scientific research.en_US
