Introduction. Stem cell-based therapies are reshaping regenerative dentistry by enabling the regeneration of dental tissues with biological precision, offering natural ways to heal and rebuild what was once thought impossible. Material and methods. This research was conducted as a qualitative literature review aimed at synthesizing current findings on stem cell-based therapies in regenerative dentistry. Scientific articles were retrieved from reputable databases including PubMed, Science Direct, and Web of Science. The search was conducted using combinations of keywords such as: “regenerative dentistry”, “stem cell therapy”, “dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs)”, “periodontal regeneration”, “tissue engineering in dentistry Results. Many relevant applications, such as 3D bioprinting of teeth, alveolar bone augmentation, regeneration of periodontal structures, and revitalization of dental pulp, may be a revolution for other fields of dentistry. Various stem cells, especially dental stem cells, which are functionally very versatile, are explored for their roles in these innovations, alongside current limitations such as ethical concerns, in vivo integration, and clinical scalability. Stem cell technology offers a promising future for truly regenerative dental care. Conclusion. Regenerative dentistry is paving the way for the future of oral healthcare with stem cell therapies offering a promising and potentially accessible approach. While the potential is immense, challenges like vascularization, tissue integration, cost and clinical scalability still need to be addressed before it becomes a widespread reality.en_US
