Metastazele cerebrale în cancerul mamar

Abstract

The onest of cerebral metastases is a frequent event in the natural history of cancer and an important cause of death. This history of 5 patients with breast cancer primary tumors and cerebral metastases developed from 2 months to 5 years are presented. These cases have been selected from a total of 253 surgical interventions. The significance of the primary tumor histology, angiogenesis and immune mechanisms in the pathogenesis of CNS metastases are discussed.

Metastazele cerebrale sunt un fenomen frecvent în istoria naturală a cancerului şi o importantă cauză de mortalitate. Se prezintă 5 cazuri de cancer mamar care au prezentat metastaze cerebrale cu o evaluare de la 2 luni la 5 ani după confirmarea diagnosticului, dintr-un total de 253 de cancer mamar metastazant.
