Aspecte computertomografice şi funcţionale în chirurgia endoscopică rinosinuzală la copii

Abstract

Computed tomography of the paranasal sinuses has become the most informative test for the radiological diagnosis of recurrent and chronic rhinosinusitis. Acoustic rhinometry and rhinomanometry are objective methods and they can be applied in monitoring the results of the endoscopic sinus surgery in children with recurrent and chronic inflammatory rhinosinusal diseases. The authors studied 120 children with recurrent and chronic sinusitis. This group of patients benefited from endoscopic sinus surgery. The laboratory investigations were used to objectify the results of surgery.

Examenul computertomografic este considerat ca cea mai informativă metodă imagistică în cazul diagnosticului sinuzitelor paranazale recidivante şi cronice. Testele funcţionale cum sunt rinomanometria şi rinometria acustică sunt folosite pe larg in rinochirurgia endoscopică şi in special în evaluarea rezultatelor postoperatorii la copiii cu sinuzite recidivante şi cronice. Sub supravegherea noastră au fost 120 de copii cu sinuzite recidivante şi cronice ce au fost supuşi tratamentului chirurgical endoscopic endonazal. Metodele de examinare menţionate au fost folosite pentru obiectivizarea rezultatelor postoperatorii.
