Defectul septal interatrial – aspecte de diagnostic şi pronostic

Abstract

Atrial septal defect is detected in 1 child per 1500 live births. There were examined 39 patients, treated during 2005-2009 in the department of pediatric cardiology. All the patients were primarily or repeatedly examined, the diagnostic or the complications were confirmed by the clinical and instrumental examinations. Some of the children were asymptomatic (10,2% cases), but in 92% children without cardiac surgery developed a severe and important progression of the hemodinamic deteriorations: pulmonary hypertension, arrhythmias.

Defectul de sept interatrial (DSA) este detectat la 1 copil din 1500 nou-născuţi. Au fost examinaţi 39 de pacienţi, trataţi în perioada anilor 2005-2009 în secţia de cardiologie a IMCŞOSMşC. Toţi pacienţii au fost examinaţi primar sau repetat, diagnosticul şi complicaţiile fiind confirmate prin examen clinic şi instrumental. Unii din copii au fost asimptomatici (10,2% cazuri), dar în 92% din cazurile neoparate au dezvoltat o progresare importantă a bolii cu deteriorări hemodinamice: hipertensiune pulmonară, aritmii.
