Pagubele sociale şi economice asociate temperaturilor extrem de înalte în vara anului 2007, în Republica Moldova

Abstract

Thermal conditions of extremely hot summer of 2007 caused not only an increase of excess deaths, but also an increase of years of life lost. By means of the index of years of life lost the socio-economic damage of extreme high temperatures was assessed. This summer in the country the highest rate of years of life lost was observed among the age groups 18-39 and 40-59 years old, in urban areas, among women, as well as for cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. In this summer years of life lost as a whole has reached 1405.5 of years, and economic losses, calculated using the gross domestic product, have amounted to 9.8 million MDL.

Термические условия экстремально жаркого лета 2007 г. вызвали не только рост дополнительной смертности, но и увеличение потерянных лет жизни. Посредством показателя потерянных лет жизни был оценен социально-экономический ущерб экстремально высоких температур. В это лето в стране наибольший показатель потерянных лет жизни наблюдался среди возрастных групп 18-39 и 40-59 лет, в городской местности, среди женщин, а также для сердечнососудистых и респираторных заболеваний. Потерянные годы жизни в это лето достигли в целом 1405,5, а экономический ущерб, рассчитанный с помощью валового внутреннего продукта, составил 9,8 млн. леев.
