dc.description.abstract | Purpose of the study: To assess the etiological diagnosis of hearing loss in children based on the anamnestic data and molecular-genetic evaluations. To determine the diagnostic importance of transient otoacoustic emissions in newborn hearing screening. To highlight the diagnostic patterns of sensorineural deafness in newborns by recording OAEs, ASSR, BERA and conditioned play and behavioral audiometry. To study the effectiveness of newborn hearing screening in the auditory rehabilitation process of hearing-impaired children. To provide the auditory function assessment in children with sensorineural hearing loss following a prosthetic rehabilitation by means of hearing aids or cochlear implants. To develop an algorithm for early diagnosis and auditory rehabilitation of sensorineural hearing-impaired children. | en_US |
