Abstract

This article describes the historical development of the Human Anatomy Department of Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, since its foundation till present. Our staff’s most important steps toward the development of the research activity, and the path to becoming an outstanding school in the domain of morphology, both at the country and international level, are here included.
