Summary
Chronic prostatitis is characterized by presentation of variable clinical features and frequent
modification of paraclinical tests wich needs elaboration new methods for efficent diagnosis. The
process of inflammation results in the initiation of synthesis of many biological active substances
and its determination in expressed prostatic secretions gives important data for diagnosis of chronic
prostatitis. To observe this modification, we studied 51 patients with chronic prostatic and 46 healthy
men for biochemistry parameters: alkaline phosphatase (AP), total acid phosphatase (TAP),
tartate dependent acid phosphatase (TDAP) and tartate independent acid phosphatase (TIAP),
elastase (E), catepsine G (CG), N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase (NAG), lysosyme (L), arylsulfatase A
and В (ArAB), arylsulfatae C (ArC), (β glucuronidase (β-G), trypsine (T), α1 - antitrypsine (α1AT), total
protein (PT) and phosphatic index (PI). These biochemical examination were performed by using
spectrophotometry with biochemical analysis «ФП - 901». Phosphatic index was appreciated by
ratio of TDAF to AP. The results of the biochemical examination performed showed the following
statical variation (P<0,05): increased concentration of L by 60,5% and reduced activity of TDAP
by 46,3%, ArAB - by 33,4%. AP - by 31,7%, TAP by 31,2%, PI by 30,0%. TIAP by 29,0% and E by 14,3%.
Comparision between the healthy men and patients with chronic prostatitis with active inflamation
showed significant changers like presence of 33,3±2,3 leucocytes in HPF (x280-400) and pH of
prostatic secretion in affected men to be 7,6±0,1. Our conclusion from the study of biochemical
modifications of the prostatic secretion in patients with chronic prostatitis is that AP, TAP, TDAP, TIAP,
E, L, ArAB and PI denotes the active process of inflammation and there biochemical determination
can help in great extent in the effective diagnosis of the chronic prostatitis. |
