Abstract:
Summary.
We analyzed the results of cytological diagnostic - Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNAB) and
pathomorphological examination - needle Puncture Bbiopsy (PB), conducted in the Center of
Kidney Transplantation during 1991-2001. 128 FNAB in 78 patients and 65 needle PB in 61 patients
were analyzed. Were evaluated advantages and disadvantages of the biopsies as well as the
complications after them. In accordance with the contemporary exigencies we are presenting the
tables with the Banff classification of renal allograft histopathology.
