The study examines and illustrates regional patterns of all-cause and cause-specific
mortality in the Republic of Moldova for the five-year period surrounding the
population census conducted in May 2014. It is addressed to public health experts,
demographers and all those interested in the analysis of mortality in Moldova. A set
