Abstract:
Background: The dental implant placement into incompletely healed sockets is widely discussed in the literature. Types of
implant placement in dependence of healing time after tooth extraction and degree of tissue healing were described during the
consensus conferences and its published materials. Meanwhile, in the described early type 2 implant placement methods, the
primary matrix of the healing socket is usually removed. Due to the fact that the socket content is transforming into bone during
healing, it is necessary to evaluate the integration of implants installed (early type 2 placement) using one-step flapless
approach, with preservation of socket content.
