Abstract. The impact of dental diseases on quality of life «children with neuromotor disabilities
This article presents the results of the evaluation of dental otusand quality of life of children with neuromotor disabilities (NMD). Material andmethods: clinicalexaminationwas- wformed of 97childrenwithvariousforms of NMD: group I Mchildrenwithmildand moderate NMD, group II - 49chil- with severe NMD, andthe control group -KMpractically- ychildrenagedl 1 - 13years. Therehasbeenestimatedthep-
revalenceandincidence of dentalcariesand oral hygienestatus (OHI-S index), theprevalenceandseverity of the impact of oral health on the quality of children's life (Child-OIDP index). Results: theseverity of impact of oral cavitydiseases on children's dailyactivitiesdepends on thedental status and NMD severity. Conclusions: The results of thisstudywillbeusedto select themethodsandremediestopreventdentaldiseases in children with NMD.
