Introduction: Carpal tunnel syndrome or compression
syndrome of the median nerve at the level of carpal
tunnel is already well established in clinical department
of hand surgery with microsurgical techniques
apply in Orthopaedics and Traumatology Hospital. It
is important to establish an exact diagnosis, a method
often used in our clinic is USG. Ultrasonography is a
noninvasive investigation, easy to do, which allows to
visualize soft structures of the carpal tunnel and identify
the median nerve in the carpal tunnel entry, during
the channel and out of the carpal tunnel and to
detect changes in nerve trunk. |
