dc.description.abstract Abstract This paper reflects a personal conclusions on person-centred care practice, based on my own research in strabismus field. Theoretical and practical considerations of the person-centred approach are discussed. Health services struggle to ensure health care in a “person-centered” way, but the general concept also called personcentered care is an ethical one: patients should be treated as “persons.” Person-centred practice needs to be well facilitated in order to flourish the healthcare framework. However, the literature is sometimes unclear about the nature of these person-centred actions and questions remain about how to provide and measure clinical outcomes of personcentred care while being engaged with others in real health practice contexts. en_US
