Abstract

Implantologia orală cunoaşte un progres semnifi cativ, această afi rmaţie demonstrată de numeroase articole şi comunicări la tema respectivă, la diverse forumuri şi conferinţe ştiinţifi ce naţionale şi internaţionale. Implantologia orală a obţinut realizări remarcabile, deşi, rămân nesoluţionate un şir de probleme de ordin chirurgical, estetic, biologic, printre care un loc important îl ocupă cele cauzate de atrofi a osoasă. O instruire şi o experienţă adecvată, face ca, recoltarea grefelor şi reconstrucţia crestelor alveolare să ofere o şansă de reabilitare chiar şi în cele mai nefavorabile condiţii.

The goal of modern dentistry is to restore the patient to normal contour, function, comfort, speech, esthetics, and health. One of the most important prerequisites for achieving and maintaining successful osseointegration is the presence of a sufficient volume of healthy bone and soft tissue, at the recipient site. Bone crest atrophy represents an important obstacle in implant-prosthetic rehabilitation patients with different types of edentulism. One should take in consideration the individual clinical situation,professional skills, the ratio between the risk, complications and expected results, and the psychological status of patient before choosing one of the modern methods of oral rehabilitation.

Значительный прогресс отмечается в современной дентальной имплантологии, подтвержденный множеством работ и публикаций в различных изданиях, современных национальных и международных форумах и конгрессах. Несмотря на то, что дентальная имплантология достигла значимых достижений, остается ряд нерешенных хирургических, эстетических, биологических проблем, среди которых, важное место занимают сложности, связанные с недостаточных объемом костной ткани в области предполагаемой имплантации. Большой опыт и качественная подготовка специалиста дают шанс для успешной реабилитации даже в самых неблагоприятных условиях
