dc.description.abstract The Burnout syndrome consists in physical, emotional and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged exposure to stress conditions. The study included 10 doctors oncologists and 11 nurses working in the clinic of general oncology. The results of the study demonstrated that the Burnout syndrome affected especially 11 medical persons, representing 52,38%. Doctors are mostly supposed to develop this syndrome, in comparison with nurses. en_US
